MICROTUNNELLING | AUGER BORING | DIRECTIONAL DRILLING

- MICROTUNNELLING -

When precision is required and there is no room for error, URBA have a number of custom built, laser guided Microtunnelling Machines. These machines are capable of boring from 500mm – 2400mm in diameter.

URBA’s machines are able to bore in a variety of ground conditions, utilising ‘vacuum extraction’ of spoil. URBA have a custom built cleaning system which enables for the cleaning of drilling fluid during the boring process. Once in the Vacuum tank, any excess water is drained, cleaned and re-used using our mud cleaning system which is based at the top of the bore pit. All dirt remains within the Vacuum tank and is removed to a designated site. The Vacuum Tank and Generator are mounted on our Tri – Axle trailer and Prime Mover. The generator and vacuum unit are in a silenced canopy, mounted on the trailer.

This makes the entire boring process much cleaner and environmentally friendly.
